Heidi's prints are made using the giclée printing process.
Giclée is a fine art digital printing process combining pigment-based inks with high quality archival quality paper to achieve prints of archival quality, light fastness and stability. The giclée printing process involves squirting or spraying microscopic dots of pigment-based ink onto high quality art paper. The image is colour corrected to attain the closest possible match to the original work. The digital information is fine tuned to the type of paper or surface on which the image is to be printed
Prints are printed on 100% cotton rag, a similar kind of paper as Heidi uses to paint the originals.
Each print is part of a limited edition, the size of which is identified adjacent to the print image, usually 50.
Heidi signs and dates each print, embosses it with her logo, and issues a certificate of authenticity which is sent to the purchaser with the print.
